Training was held in Khachmaz city within the framework of the project "Improving access to public services for women and girls with disabilities in Baku, Ganja and Guba-Khachmaz region".
It is organized with the financial support of the project "Improving access to public services of women and girls with disabilities in Baku, Ganja and Guba-Khachmaz region" financed by the UN Trust Fund for Combating Violence Against Women and implemented by the "Disabled Women's Society" Public Union. The training on violence against women was organized on February 23, 2024 in the Khachmaz city of the Khachmaz SMB Development Center of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency ( SMBDA) for employees working in state enterprises. The training was conducted by the director of the Ethics Academy and certified trainer Gunel Ibrahim. The purpose of the training was to change the attitude towards women and girls with disabilities in public places with the participation of the state, civil society and private institutions, to prevent cases of violence against women and girls with disabilities and to improve accessibility and the quality of public services for them.
The training focused on conducting trainings for employees and service personnel of state enterprises on professional communication with women and girls with disabilities, as well as giving practical advice on professional ethical communication with disabled people, paying attention to women and girls with disabilities. During the training, information was provided on various government services useful for women and girls with disabilities and their family members. Identification of different forms of violence against them is covered in training for various public services.
UN Trust Fund to End Violence against Women is the only global grant-making mechanism dedicated exclusively to addressing all forms of violence against women and girls.

The overall goal of the project is to improve the accessibility and quality of public services for women and girls with disabilities from low-income families, including internally displaced families.
