On May 17, 2024, the fourth round table was held in the Kabadokia Center in the city of Ganja within the framework of the project "Improving access to public services of women and girls with limited health opportunities in Baku, Ganja and Guba-Khachmaz region" financed by the UN Trust Fund. It is managed by the "Disabled Women's Society" Public Union to end violence against women. The purpose of the continuous implementation of the "Round Table" is to prepare local action plans that include measures to improve the accessibility and quality of public services in order to change the attitude towards women and girls with disabilities in public places, as well as to change the attitude towards women and girls with disabilities in public places and to prevent them. is to assist in the purchase. violence against them with the participation of the state, civil society and private organizations. Interesting discussions were held at the round table with the participation of various governmental, non-governmental and business organizations.

Mahluga Rahimova, chairwoman of the "Disabled Women's Society" Public Union, opened the round table and informed the participants about the activities of the project, the results of the work done and the issues that were resolved after the first round table. The participants had extensive discussions about discrimination against women and girls with disabilities in public places and ways to solve them. Proposals regarding the positive results of the activities of the Coordinating Council established from among state institutions, sustainability, and further expansion of joint cooperation were heard. The duties of the members were discussed again. The participants of the round table were once again informed about the goal determination, coordination and implementation of joint activities of the coordination council to facilitate the use of public services by women and girls with disabilities who are the main beneficiaries of the project.

It should be noted that women and girls with disabilities are less aware of their rights. For this reason, they cannot solve the problems they face. The basis of our project is a support system for them to develop in their lives. The main goal of the project "Improving access to public services for women and girls with disabilities in Baku, Ganja and Guba-Khachmaz region" is to increase the accessibility and quality of public services for disabled women and girls from low-income families. , including internally displaced families. Within the framework of the project, socialization of the problems faced by women and girls with limited health opportunities is organized at certain stages. In order to study and analyze the problems faced by people of this category in the society, to find their solutions, to solve them, to eliminate the subjective causes, it is ensured that the teaching line is carried out in a consistent manner. One of the main directions of the project is to teach social, health, justice, employment, education, law enforcement agencies professional ethical communication, including communication skills, with women and girls with various types of disabilities and communication difficulties. knowledge and skills to serve them.
 

UN Trust Fund to End Violence against Women is the only global grant-making mechanism dedicated exclusively to addressing all forms of violence against women and girls.

The overall goal of the project is to improve the accessibility and quality of public services for women and girls with disabilities from low-income families, including internally displaced families.
Project will be implemented during the period of September 2022 - August 2025 (36 months).
