Training was held in Guba city within the project “Improving access of women and girls with disabilities to public services in Baku, Ganja, and Guba-Khachmaz region”
Within the project “Improving access of women and girls with disabilities to public services in Baku, Ganja, and Guba-Khachmaz region” funded by the UN Trust Fund to End Violence against Women and managed by the "Disabled Women's Society" Public Union to end violence against women, the training was organized for the members of the Coordination Council formed from the state institutions in Quba City on May 29, 2024. The training was conducted by the director of the Ethics Academy and certified trainer, Gunel Ibrahim. The purpose of the training was to change the attitude towards women and girls with disabilities in public places with the participation of the state, civil society, and private organizations, to prevent acts of violence against women and girls with disabilities, and to improve the accessibility and quality of public services for them.

The training focused on providing trainings for employees and service personnel of public institutions on professional communication with women and girls with disabilities, as well as practical advice on professional ethical communication with people with disabilities, with a focus on women and girls with disabilities. During the training the information about the various public services useful for women and girls with disabilities and their family members was given. The identification of various forms of violence against them was covered in training on a variety of public services.
The overall goal of the project is to improve the accessibility and quality of public services for women and girls with disabilities from low-income families, including internally displaced families.
Project will be implemented during the period of September 2022 - August 2025 (36 months).
