In the next seminar, the rights, psychological, social and employment areas of internally displaced women and girls with disabilities from Khojaly were covered under the topic "Problems of attitude and behavior towards women and girls with disabilities in public places and public support". The seminar was organized on 18-19.05.2024 for the internally displaced persons temporarily living in Khojaly settlement which is located near the city of Ganja.
The seminars are held by the trainer of the project, Irada Rizazadeh, in Baku city and regions.
The participants of the workshop received instructions on various state and public services useful for women and girls with disabilities and their families, including on recognizing different forms of violence against them. The problems faced by women and girls with disabilities were raised by the participants of the seminar, proposals were made to solve the problems faced by the women and presented to the Coordination Council established with the participation of state institutions. The participants put forward the idea of holding such seminars in educational institutions in the future.

Inviting new participants each time during seminars leads to the creation of new support groups, increased innovation, network growth, new ideas and suggestions. Women with disabilities from Khojaly, who participated in the seminar, chose their community leader. The head of the community has a higher education. During the seminar, we saw her clear ideas about the protection of the rights of disabled women. She has the ability to apply what he has learned.
Information about those with problems is collected and transferred to the relevant state institutions, and assistance is provided to solve them. Various women and girls with disabilities participating in the seminars held in Ganja, Baku and Guba, Gusar, Khachmaz cities and regions were helped to promptly solve their problems, which led to the emergence of new ideas about their rights. They themselves become activists.
As a result of the exercises held at the seminar, the organization of group exercises related to the rights, suggestions, life experiences and obstacles of women with disabilities, who are mostly unaware of their rights, gives positive results as a more efficient method.
