The purpose of the training was to change the attitude towards women and girls with disabilities in public places with the participation of the state, civil society, and private organizations, to prevent acts of violence against women and girls with disabilities, and to improve the accessibility and quality of public services for them.
The training focused on providing trainings for employees and service personnel of public institutions on professional communication with women and girls with disabilities, as well as practical advice on professional ethical communication with people with disabilities, with a focus on women and girls with disabilities. During the training the information about the various public services useful for women and girls with disabilities and their family members was given. The identification of various forms of violence against them was covered in training on a variety of public services.
The overall goal of the project is to improve the accessibility and quality of public services for women and girls with disabilities from low-income families, including internally displaced families. Project will be implemented during the period of September 2022 - August 2025 (36 months).
